Are you an Alexander Technique teacher or student?

Are you interested in how the Alexander Technique and CranioSacral therapy complement each other? Then this page is for you.

To truly release your potential and to be effortlessly balanced and upright a number of conditions need to be met. One of them is recognition and healing of trauma. I discovered that the impact of trauma interferes with poise and balance through the connective tissue of the body. Particularly the connective tissue that attaches to the sacrum and from there lines the spinal cord and the skull.

Since 2001 I have studied how CranioSacral Therapy can release trauma and dissipate tension in the connective tissue. This deep release facilitates the postural reflexes. This is why, in my opinion, CranioSacral Therapy and the Alexander Technique complement each other beautifully.

At the 8th Alexander Technique Congress in Lugano in 2008 I gave my first public presentation on my discoveries in the lecture: Alexander Technique and CranioSacral Therapy - examining the hidden forces which influence the Primary Control". This lecture was published in the Congress papers 2008.  (
Click here to request a copy of this lecture in PDF). Since then I have been invited to give lectures and workshops and private sessions on this subject in the U.S.A., Belgium, Spain and Norway.

This year, in August, I will give another workshop at the 9th International Alexander Technique Congress. Look forward to seeing you there!

Do you suspect you have a CranioSacral problem and would you like to schedule a number of private session to integrate deep release into your postural reflexes? Or would you like to organize a lecture or workshop on this subject in your country? I am available in 2011 to travel. Do not hesitate to contact me.
